Learn italian at UP School!
The classes at UP School are homogeneous and organized by levels, age and level of knowledge through the level assessment carried out before the beginning of the course.

The purpose of Italian courses is to develop and consolidate oral comprehension, written comprehension, oral communication and written production. At UP School, in the various activities carried out individually or in small groups, the student is always an active protagonist of learning.

We have small classes between 5 and 8 students to facilitate communication between students and the teacher. After all, one learns to speak by speaking, and whoever speaks wants to be heard. Oral interaction is essential for language teaching and UP School provides an environment in which this is possible.

Throughout the year, UP School has scheduled classes lasting 120 minutes per week (twice a week) or consecutive lessons for those who wish. We have daily schedules between 9:00 am and 8:00 pm and on Saturdays between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm. We also have after-work hours specially designed for adults.

At the end of each level there is a written and oral assessment exam. The student is considered approved if he/she obtains a minimum classification of 60 out of 100. To access the exam, a minimum class attendance of 75% of the total hours is required.
Certification of knowledge of Italian as a foreign language
Certificates of Italian as a Foreign Language are the titles that declare the degree of communicative competence in Italian as a foreign language. To take the tests, in addition to the knowledge of the Italian language, it is not necessary to have special titles of study. To study or work in an Italian-speaking country, UP School guides its students to take exams through the Italian Institutes of Culture, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the following Institutions: Università per Stranieri di Perugia (CELI – CIC), Università per Stranieri di Siena (CILS), Università degli Studi Roma Tre (IT – ele.IT- int.IT), Società Dante Alighieri (PLIDA).

These exams are carried out internationally by thousands of students, and a certificate is awarded. They take place twice a year, normally in June and November.
Courses for Children, Youngs and Adults
Italian courses at UP School are available for all ages (children, young people and adults) and in various teaching modes from level A1 to C2. Our programs use methods and materials specially prepared and created for the respective age group.

From the beginning, students build a useful selection of everyday vocabulary and become familiar with the sounds and pronunciation of the language they are studying.
Annual Courses
The annual Italian courses at UP School can be 60 or 90 hours, taught once or twice a week at various times (2 to 3 hours per week). The duration of the course depends on the level the student attends. These courses are available face-to-face at our centres, at a distance or online.

The annual Italian courses follow a study plan whose syllabus is oriented towards a solid preparation of students for international exams, improving all components of the language. These exams are carried out internationally by thousands of students, and a certificate is awarded. These UP School courses run during the school year, from mid-September to the end of June.
